Our process covers four connected stages:
Order receipt: Orders are imported into our warehouse management system from connected sales channels, Manually or bespoke connections.
Picking: The required products and quantities are selected from their warehouse locations.
Packing: Orders are packed using the agreed packaging, protective materials and branded elements.
Dispatch preparation: Completed orders are checked, labelled and prepared for carrier collection.
We can process individual eCommerce orders, multi-item purchases, retail orders and larger business shipments, adapting the packing method to suit each requirement. This provides the operational flexibility to manage new product launches, promotional activity and changing order volumes without building and staffing your own fulfilment operation.
Picked and packed by barcode
Using our warehouse management system, our picking team scan your products by barcode, removing the costly picking errors that plague traditional 3PLs. Every item stored at TDS has its own location, so pick routes are efficient and picking is fast.
Our packing team then re-verify the barcode before packing the order to the highest standard, using recycled shredded cardboard or crumpled paper as standard to protect your products on their journey.
Once dispatched, your package is handed to one of our trusted couriers for onward delivery.
