An accurate fulfilment operation begins with an organised goods-in process. Our dedicated goods in team will receive, check and record your incoming inventory before placing it into the appropriate warehouse location, ensuring your stock is correctly accounted for and ready for order fulfilment as soon as it hits the shelf
Whether your products arrive by parcel, pallet or container, our goods-in team follows a structured receiving process. Incoming deliveries are matched against the information supplied in advance, allowing us to verify products, quantities and identifying information before stock is accepted into the warehouse. Using our ASN (Advanced Shipping Notification) system this will ensure our goods in team are ready to get yours goods checked in ASAP.
Our goods-in process can include:
Scheduled receipt of supplier deliveries
Unloading parcels, pallets and containers
Verification against expected-delivery information
Product, SKU and quantity checks
Barcode scanning and inventory recording
Visual checks for obvious damage
Recording and reporting shortages or discrepancies
Batch, serial-number or expiry-date recording where required
Quarantining stock requiring further investigation
Systematic putaway into suitable warehouse locations
Updating stock records within Mintsoft
Once the receiving process is complete, approved inventory is made available for fulfilment. This structured approach helps maintain stock accuracy from the moment your products enter our warehouse.
